THE FARM is set in some 45 acres and is primarily a grassland farm complete with both old and new farm buildings.
TRADITIONAL FARMING is practised, with particular emphasis on the breeding and showing of Jacob and Black Welsh mountain sheep.
In addition a range of cattle is kept which eventually produces excellent beef which we sell over the farm gate.The farm would not be complete without many other animals including free range chickens and ducks, cats and of course the essential working sheepdogs.
THE RIVER TALE forms one of the boundaries of the farm and is beautiful to walk along and provides reasonable fishing if you have plenty of time !
Our guests do enjoy the farm and the beautiful countryside we recently completed the restoration of a large pond which has been a focal point on our farm walk
We have planted a new orchard which is now bearing fantastic fruit. We are, at last, producing our own apple juice which is served for breakfast during the autumn and winter months, or until apples stocks run out.
